About Me

Wendy Wineriter

Design is about bringing ideas to life and having a positive impact on people who view those designs.

I’m a professional graphic designer with 5 years of experience who recently moved to Upstate New York area of Albany, with my husband, rabbit, and parrot. We grew up on Long Island, New York and decided to move to the upstate area since we loved it so much from our travels to the area. I was born in Colombia but moved to the United States when I was around eight years old with my parents to Long Island.

My love for all things design came about from watching my grandmother create nativity sets from her imagination and helping her when I was little. I also started becoming intrigued by books when I would visit my father and grandfathers binding business, I loved to see how they bound books. To me it was fascinating how they would make all sorts of books and got my first gold leaf notebook when I was about 5 years old. I knew that I wanted to keep the family tradition of designing and decided to pursue a Graphic Design career. I am a graduate of Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, New York with a Bachelors of Technology in Visual Communications and an Associates of Applied Science in Commercial Arts: Digital Technologies from Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York.

Over the years aside from working as a full time designer, I am a freelance designer and volunteered my design skills at Bailey Arboretum in Lattingtown, New York. My passions are hand sculpting figures, creating 3D designs for Second Life, coloring illustrations, sewing, crochet, gaming, reading, cooking, baking, gardening, hiking nature and historical trails.
